Mia practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and public law.
Before joining the firm in 2023, Mia was counsel with the Department of Justice, Business and Regulatory Law Section. As Crown counsel, she maintained a large and diverse caseload and developed notable experience in the areas of regulatory negligence, constitutional, and administrative law. Before that, Mia clerked for six justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Mia holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in philosophy from the University of British Columbia.
Outside of work Mia volunteers with various animal rights organizations, enjoys riding her motorcycle, and exploring the outdoors.
