Jakub Czypinski

Jakub joined Gudmundseth Mickelson LLP after articling at an international law firm in Vancouver where he developed a strong interest in resolving complicated corporate commercial litigation disputes.  Jakub has a broad litigation practice handling civil, commercial and regulatory cases.

Jakub has a background in business and banking, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba in 2020 where he specialized in Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Jakub holds a J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where he also worked as a research assistant in the areas of securities law and banking regulation, and edited articles for publication in the Canadian Business Law Journal and the American Business Law Journal.

Jakub was born and raised in Winnipeg, where he played the bass guitar as a member of a progressive rock group. In his spare time, Jakub enjoys trying new restaurants with his friends, reading about history and foreign affairs, and spending time outdoors.
